What We Collect

How We Use Your Data
- To generate AI-powered editorial reports using third-party AI services
- To provide, maintain, and improve our services
- To process payments and prevent fraud
- To send you service-related communications
- To analyze usage patterns and improve user experience
AI Processing & Cloud Data
- Your manuscripts are processed by enterprise-grade AI services (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar providers) to generate editorial reports.
- We use enterprise API endpoints with zero-data-retention policies, meaning your manuscripts are NOT used to train AI models.
- Your manuscript files are uploaded to secure cloud storage (Base44/Supabase) and processed entirely in the cloud.
- During report generation, your manuscript is temporarily accessed by AI services via secure signed URLs that expire after 10 minutes.
- After all reports are generated, the manuscript file is automatically deleted from our servers - only metadata (title, genre, etc.) is retained.
- Your generated reports remain accessible until you choose to delete them.
- We do not share your manuscripts with any parties other than the AI processing services necessary to generate your reports.
Who Has Access
- Only you can access your manuscripts and reports
- Our technical staff may access data for support, debugging, or service improvement purposes only
- Third-party AI services process your manuscripts solely to generate reports (with zero-retention policies)
- Payment processors (Stripe) handle transaction data securely
- We never sell, rent, or share your manuscripts with third parties for marketing purposes
Data Security
- All data is transmitted using industry-standard SSL/TLS encryption
- Manuscripts and reports are stored securely in encrypted databases
- Payment information is handled exclusively by PCI-compliant payment processors
- We implement security measures to protect against unauthorized access
- Regular security audits and updates to maintain data protection
Your Rights & Data Control
- Delete manuscripts and reports anytime from your dashboard
- Request a complete export of your data
- Request account deletion at any time
- Opt out of non-essential communications
- Access and review all data we have about you
- Upon deletion, your manuscripts are permanently removed from our systems within 30 days
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate our platform:
- AI Processing Services: Enterprise-grade AI APIs for report generation (zero-retention policies)
- Stripe: Payment processing (subject to Stripe's privacy policy)
- Base44: Application infrastructure and hosting
Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide our services:
- Manuscript Files: Automatically deleted after all reports are complete. Only metadata remains.
- Reports: Retained until you manually delete them from your dashboard
- Account Data: Retained until you request account deletion
- Deleted Data: Permanently removed within 30 days
- Payment Records: May be retained longer for legal and accounting requirements
